Ara-290, also known as cibinetide, is an 11-amino-acid peptide derived from a region of erythropoietin (EPO). Unlike EPO, it does not act on red blood cell production, but on a repair pathway. It is studied in inflammation research. NeoPeptidos offers it with ≥99% HPLC purity, for research use.

What is Ara-290?
Besides its well-known function on blood, EPO has a pathway related to tissue protection through the so-called innate repair receptor (IRR). Ara-290 reproduces only that region, so it is classified as an IRR agonist without EPO's hematological effects.
Research context
The literature on Ara-290 has focused on inflammation, tissue repair and models of neuropathic pain.
These findings belong to the field of research and do not constitute evidence of efficacy in humans. Ara-290 is offered for research use only.
Handling and reconstitution
